Information about the vision and objectives for the LCCA

The establishment of the Lancashire Combined County Authority (LCCA) marks a historic moment for Lancashire - bringing new powers, funding and decision-making closer to the people and places they affect.

Our vision and objectives set out the LCCA’s overall ambition and strategic direction. They are grounded in Lancashire’s strengths, shaped by our partners, and focused on delivering inclusive growth that benefits all parts of the county.

Our vision

Guided by the Lancashire Growth Plan, our vision is to build on Lancashire’s strengths to become a globally recognised, highly competitive and sustainable region, celebrated for its quality of life, connectivity and opportunity.

We will deliver inclusive, high-impact growth by focusing on priority sectors, while investing in the foundations of long-term success - including transport, skills, innovation and place.

Our values

How we work is just as important as what we deliver. Our values guide decision-making, partnership working and how we serve Lancashire’s communities:

  • accountability
  • collaboration
  • flexibility
  • inclusivity
  • social value
