Could you play a role in the success of the Lancashire CCA?

Independent Chair positions

We are looking for Independent Chairs for our Audit and Governance and our Overview and Scrutiny Committees. These are crucial roles in the governance of the CCA, as you will guide those committees to ensure that the CCA is accountable and transparent in its actions and activities, and decision makers can be held to account.

We're looking for experienced and committed people with experience of leadership, working collaboratively and influencing change. You'll be responsible for chairing around four meetings a year, and for making sure your committee is effective in delivering its objectives. You'll work with elected members and other key stakeholders to ensure the CCA is delivering for the people of Lancashire.

It is expected that the time commitment required would be between 2 to 3 days per meeting. There is an allowance of £2000 per year for each post.
